The world-famous Formula Ford Festival returns to Kent’s Brands Hatch for two days of fast and furious club-level motorsport this October for the 49th running of the world-famous annual event.
In a past life, the Formula Ford Festival served as a key career stepping stone for aspiring F1 hopefuls including Jenson Button, Mark Webber, and Johnny Herbert. That heritage still exudes through the event as many of the UK and Ireland’s finest clubman racers take to the tarmac to join the illustrious roll of honour.
Unlike traditional championship-style race events, the Formula Ford Festival is a tense knockout contest in which competitors will put it all on the line for a chance to contest the final in their low downforce, open cockpit, single-seaters. This winner takes all format guarantees plenty of action and it’s a fantastic end of season spectacle.
The full racing line-up includes the AVON Tyres National Formula Ford Championship, AVON Tyres Northern & Super Classic Formula Ford Championship, BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship and BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Supercup.
A number of safety measures will be in operation at this event, in accordance with COVID-Secure guidelines. Click here to download a summary.
MSV is restricting its attendance numbers significantly to ensure visitors can easily socially distance - as such, you will need to purchase your tickets in advance to guarantee admission. The general public will not have any access to the working areas (i.e. the paddock and pit lane) and overnight stays for the public are not permitted at this race meeting.
Please click here to view a map of the venue, which outlines which areas are restricted to visitors.
Please note that pre-registration is not required for season pass holders to gain admission - simply present your pass at the venue entrance as normal.
